Who we are
Steady Mentors is a brand of [LEGAL COMPANY NAME], CNPJ [CNPJ], Brazil. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Address: [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Questions or requests: [email protected].
The short version
- This is a simple static website. There are no accounts and nothing to log in to.
- Payments happen on Hotmart, not on this site. We never see your full card details.
- If you opt in to an email sample or newsletter (when offered), we keep your email (and first name, if you give it) to send it to you and a few follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect and why
1. When you browse this site
Our hosting provider ([HOSTING PROVIDER, e.g. Cloudflare]) automatically processes basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use this data to identify you.
Campaign links. If you arrive through a link that contains campaign labels (for example utm_source, utm_campaign or src), a small script saves those labels in your browser's session storage. That storage is cleared when you close the tab. The script adds the same labels to links to our other pages and to the checkout, so we can see which post or profile led to a visit or a sale. These labels describe the link you clicked, not you, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
2. When you opt in to email (when we offer it)
If we offer a free sample or newsletter and you opt in, we collect your email address (required), your first name (optional), which offer you picked and a record of your consent (date and time). We use them to email you that sample and a few short follow-up emails, which may include an offer for the full program. This data is stored and sent by our email provider, [EMAIL TOOL NAME], on our behalf. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Until that opt-in is live, we do not collect emails on this site for a free gift.
3. When you buy
Checkout is run by Hotmart, which acts as the payment processor and reseller of our products. Hotmart collects and processes your payment details, handles delivery of the files and processes refunds under its own privacy policy. Hotmart shares with us the order details we need to support you, such as your name, email, country, what you bought, the order number and the campaign labels of the link you used. We use them to deliver support, handle refund requests and keep the records required by law.
4. Advertising pixels
We may use the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel on some pages to measure how our ads perform (for example, whether a visit led to a checkout). If they are active, Meta and TikTok may set cookies or similar technologies and receive information about your device, the pages you view and actions such as starting a checkout. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EU/UK), we will ask for it before loading these pixels, and you can withdraw it at any time. [STATUS: pixels not active yet / add cookie banner before enabling]
5. When you email us
If you write to [email protected], we use your email address and message to reply and keep a record of the conversation.
Legal bases (GDPR and LGPD)
- Contract: delivering what you bought, support and refunds.
- Consent: optional email offers (when live) and, where required, advertising pixels. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure and understanding which links bring visitors, in a way that doesn't override your rights.
- Legal obligation: tax and accounting records.
Who we share data with
Only with service providers who help us run this business: Hotmart (payments, delivery, refunds), [EMAIL TOOL NAME] (email), [HOSTING PROVIDER] (hosting) and, if active, Meta and TikTok (ad measurement). We may also disclose data when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information. If advertising pixels are active, this may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out by emailing us, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals where pixels are used.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in Brazil and the United States. When that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Email list: until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to record that you opted out.
- Order records: for as long as tax and consumer laws require ([RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 5 years]).
- Support emails: up to [RETENTION PERIOD] after the conversation ends.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, the LGPD in Brazil or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- ask for your data in a portable format;
- object to or ask us to limit certain uses;
- withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect what was done before);
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information;
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law gives us. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the ANPD in Brazil or your local supervisory authority in the EU/UK. For data Hotmart holds about your purchase, you can also contact Hotmart directly.
Children
This site and our products are not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under [18].
Security
We use reputable providers and keep access to personal data limited. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
